Conserving water with
the right Water Management
- OCF introduced Low-Flow Taps to regulate water flow and reduce wastage
- OCF used Dual- Flush system since 2005 to conserve water
- Use of recycled waste water for - flushing, gardening and car washing, reducing fresh water demand by at least 40 %
- Water meters installed at all important common locations to minimize the wastage & to monitor the usage at site
- WTP installed at site to use the bore & rainwater reduces the demand of fresh water from PCMC
Solar Hot Water for every apartment
- Instead of centralized hot water system, OCF implemented Individual Solar Hot water system for each flat of Capacity 125 litres
- The individual SHW tanks fitted with instant heaters which can be controlled from individual flat
- Output of this SHW system given to each bathroom
- OCF introduced solar hot water microcontroller, per flat to have efficient management system to suit individual requirements such as quantity, temperature & back-up controls
Zero Energy Phytorid Technology
used for waste water treatment
- Developed and patented by NEERI (premier R&D Institute in India)
- Its under constructed wetland: Recommended in Environment Policy of India, MoEF, 2006
- No mechanical or electrical devices and therefore very low failures leading to sustainable operations
- Treatment plant adds to aesthetics and safe for installations in the residential colonies/townships
- Treated water meets all the norms specified in Environment Protection Standards 1986
